I’m pretty easy to please and they are just in case you want some inspiration. Count D/Leon Orcot
This was baby’s first fandom, and I remain nostalgically delighted by anything to do with it. I love angsty fic that focuses on the fallout of the series ending, or on the problems inherent in a mortal/immortal relationship, and I also love fluffier fic that leans into the snarky banter and the general out-there-ness of the canon. Only caveat: I never managed to get into PSoH: Tokyo, so while I'm fine with you using elements of it, I'd prefer nothing where detailed knowledge of the sequel series is necessary to understand the story.
Prompts, if you want them.
Fic:
- D's reaction to sweets is starting to have an... effect on Leon. D is 100% aware of this and starts playing it up.
- Leon falls foul of a tradition belonging to D's people and they end up accidentally married (or maybe D just lets him think they're accidentally married for a while).
- Sofu D shows up to warn Leon away from his grandson and tell him their relationship must stop. Leon didn't even know they had one!
- I'll always be weak for fics where Leon tracks D down after the original manga ending. Feel free to use aspects of the sequel series or completely ignore it. I just love those angsty reunions -- tragic, romantic, or somewhere in between.
- They have to get dressed up for a formal event for reasons, and D has Opinions about Leon's taste in clothing.

Daryl Dixon/Rick Grimes
I love the quiet loyalty between these two, the fact that they may disagree or even fight but are friends again a moment later, and the fact that they’ve been through so much hell together but kind of help to keep each other human with moments of support and tenderness (that reunion hug!) They live in a hellish world and I like to see them find a couple of bright spots together among the darkness. For canonverse fic, I generally prefer for Rick and Michonne to have just stayed friends and never got together rather than having them break up.
Fandom-specific DNW: Merle being written as a nice guy.
Prompts if you want them.
- Rick has amnesia after the bridge. He’s been surviving by being wary and keeping his distance from other people. It’s lonely, but it keeps him alive—until he runs into a stranger who he finds himself trusting instinctively. Does Rick get his memories back? Does Daryl tell him the truth or try to spare him the pain of knowing about everything he’s lost?
- Out on a run, one of them is injured (or maybe they get cut off by a herd of walkers or caught in a storm) and they have to hole up somewhere for a few nights. Cue comfort, huddling for warmth, and eventually-resolved feelings.
- Any and all science fiction or fantasy AUs! I love: magic-users, mythical creatures, space pirates/smugglers/salvagers, psychic powers, and all sorts of other weird and wonderful tropes.
- They got together during S6, and Negan figures out their relationship and tries to use it against them. How does that affect the rest of the story? (Does it make things a whole lot worse for poor Daryl?)
Daryl Dixon & Carol Peletier
Their unlikely friendship is pretty much my favourite thing on the show. I love that they seem like such different people on the surface, but both manage to escape their abusive situations and come into their own in the apocalypse, and that they recognise each other as kindred spirits despite everything. And I especially love that, of the two of them, Carol is the one you really wouldn’t want to piss off.
Prompts if you want them.
- The apocalypse never happens, but they end up becoming friends anyway, supporting each other and maybe eventually helping each other get away from their abusive home lives.
- When Daryl finds Carol outside the Kingdom, he tells her the truth about what happened. How does she react? Does this change how things play out?
- Both of them end up trapped in the hospital with Beth and they have to try to survive/escape together.

Thirteenth Doctor/Yasmin Khan
I’ve loved these two a long time. I love how the Doctor is the one person who seems to break through Yaz’s stoicism, the evasiveness that’s clearly because the Doctor cares so much, the fact that ‘last to know they were in love’ is canon now. And I know it’s probably going to end in heartbreak, but for now I’m just going to pretend they get a happy ending. I'm not keen on dark or very unhappy takes for this ship -- there can be angst and conflict along the way, but ultimately I want them to be good for each other.
Prompts if you want them.
- The TARDIS is getting sick of all the UST, so tries to matchmake them (engineering only-one-bed scenarios? mysteriously getting “stuck” in romantic locations?). Dan is probably a very willing accomplice.
- We were trying to hide our feelings, but oops, we’ve been dosed with alien truth serum!
- We were trying to hide our feelings, but oops, we’ve been dosed with alien sex pollen!
- Yaz’s family kept asking when she was going to bring her girlfriend over again, and eventually she gave up on correcting them. She just, kind of, forgot to mention that to the Doctor.
- The Doctor was planning on repressing her feelings indefinitely… until a Sexy Alien Princess/Historical Hottie(/other jealousy-inducing person) took an interest in Yaz.

Gideon Nav/Harrowhark Nonagesismus
I fell immediately in love with this fraught, thorny relationship—the angry codependency of it all! The self-hatred and dark secrets, and the way it’s all so inextricably tangled up. I haven’t finished Harrow the Ninth yet, but but expect I'll have done so by the time the collection opens and don’t mind at all if you want to incorporate aspects of it.
Prompts if you want them:
- AU where Gideon finds out what really happened to the other Ninth kids earlier. How does this affect their relationship, and her desire to run away? Does she believe Harrow can help her find out why she survived (or does Harrow claim that she can in order to get her to agree to be cavalier)?
- Any and all body-sharing tropes—dream-sharing, dream sex, feeling the person that’s in your head there in even the most intimate/vulnerable moments.
- Medieval/medieval-fantasy AU with Harrow as the princess/Lady of the Manor and Gideon her unwilling sworn sword.
- “Dulcinea” decides to take her flirting with Gideon one step further, and Harrow can’t hide her jealousy anymore.
- Basically any of the moments from canon where they should have angry!kissed.

The trashiest of trash ships! I find their hate-at-first-sight dynamic really compelling and a great way to dig into both characters. Unsurprisingly, this is the ship where my noncon DNW doesn’t apply – I love fic that walks the line of them both wanting to believe they’re the one in control, but not really being sure. Rough-but-consensual hatesex is also welcome!
Prompts if you want them:
- During their active superhero days, they’re find themselves after the same villain, are forced to work together, and hate every second of it. Maybe the frustration culminates in explosive hatesex, or maybe they just snipe and seethe homoerotically at each other the whole time.
- We’ve been sex-pollened, but hey, at least we already hate each other so I don’t have to worry about what you’ll think of me in the morning.
- Sword-and-sorcery AU with Adrian as the smug scholar-magician and Eddie as the asshole mercenary who thinks the solution to every problem is a big sword.
- Adrian captures Eddie before he gets away and drunkenly talks to Moloch. Does he try to persuade him (or “persuade” him) to keep quiet? Keep him captive?
- CNC where the “consent” is pretty dubious.

I’ve wanted to see these two meet ever since I watched BB a couple of years ago. Their addiction issues, their multiple dead girlfriends, their issues with overbearing father-figures and feeling like the ‘bad’ sibling in their families. I’d just love to see them bond under any circumstances, shippy or gen.
Prompts if you want them:
- Post-canon, a grieving Sam takes a hunt in Alaska because it’s far from the things that remind him of Dean. He runs into Jesse. Maybe he initially assumes Jesse’s scars and obvious trauma are also a result of something supernatural?
- Jesse sees something paranormal while high, but convinces himself it was all in his head—until some hunters come to town.
- Sam and Dean investigate a monster in New Mexico while Sam is struggling with his demon blood addiction, and he goes looking for something else to take the edge off and runs into Jesse.
